Day One -

Morning flight to Phuket by Tiger Airways. Book-in to Phuket Backpackers Hotel located in Phuket Town. The weather was perfect, sunny n warm..gd enough for our 1st activity of the day - ATV Adventure Camp, ATV Ride. It was hell!! I mean the ride, literally. Rough terrain n trails, uneven surface makes it moreexciting.. Great nature background, bird's eye view of the scenic mountains...SUPERB!!Called it a day by having dinner @ Tiger Inn along Patong Beach. Caught bar-top dancers in clubs.. phuket is well-known 4 its nightlife. No kidding! Way better than in s'pore.

Day Two -

Woke up early morning, caught a 2hr drive to Phang-Nga, near mainland thailand for our next side trip. Visited Monkey Cave, Tonpariwat Waterfall, had Thai Herbal Sauna, Elephant Trekking but the highlight of the day was the White Water Rafting Level II-III 5km!! No words can describe how i feel. In short, its AMAZING!! simply irresistable!! im a sucker for water sports. eeheehee... i'll definitely be back for dis activity.
ps : i had a crush on my instructor. lolx. (n i even had a thai name.lolx)
Back in phuket, we stroll along Patong Beach n do what singaporean is best at. Shopping!!
Dvd-marathon back at our hostel till the cows come home.

Day Three -

Woke up late, check email @ the hostel common room. Had american breakfast @ nearby shophses, check-out after lunch to catch a flight to Bangkok by Thai AirAsia.. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed almost 1hr due to late arrival... *ggrr* Touch down in bangkok ard evening, check-in to Baiyoke Boutique Hotel, sister hotel to Baiyoke Sky - Thailand Tallest Tower.
Called it a day by having steamboat @ the famous shopping mall, MBK- Maboonkrong.

Day Four -

Went to well-known Chatuchak Weekend Market by BTS Train (same lk our MRT). The place was incredibly huge, u can get lose.I dun noe wats so great abt dis plc dat kept ppl talking, but for sure given the chance i wldnt want to return here again. Nt dat i dun favour shopping, but i c no diff in doing my shopping in s'pore. Chatuchak is juz lk Bugis Village, except dat its much cheaper but a lil dirtier no doubt.

Day Five -

Charter a tour limo to Samut Songkhram province ... me n frenz were dying to visit d floating market n d railway market. And we all felt that it'll be a waste if we dun get a taste of d thais culture. how true. a brief history, Samut means Ocean n Songkhram means War = Ocean of War. It was a 2hr drive from our hotel, along d way we came across salt field. Yesh! Salt field. i nvr knew it existed, padi field of coz but salt field nvr cross my mind b4. n i was pretty impressed by wat i saw
.........continued..........
finally, reached Damnernsaduak Floating Market. we were greeted by friendly thais n a welcome coconut drink, n a boat ride tour ard d floating market to satisfied our "cravings". it was so syiOk la ppl!! bOught glutinous rice wif mango to eat onboard coz we missed breakfast..heeh. sedap sei, pulut nasi dgn mangga. fUh!! ni klau ajak mak, konperm nk tapao balik s'pore. ahahhahah...
after dat, we proceed to Maeklong Railway Market (if u guyz read d NewPaper,it was published quite recently).. a market ALONG d railway where d train willpass by 8times a day, n when it does, market vendors wld chOp2 pull their tent aside to let d train pass.
sOunds cOol, rite? wait till i shOw u d video =)
we were lucky, we reached juz in time to catch all d "action"... it tickles me seeing d vendors quickly pull their tent. but deep inside, i salute their courage. i meandoing business along d railway is no jOke. dan buat seketika, hatiku berdetik tanda kesyukuran..aku carik rezki duduk dlm suasana aircon, tp dierorg...sanggup gadai nyawa demi sesuap nasi..sedih. tp inilah hakikatnye.. so kwn2, dun take takes 4 granted. bersyukur dgn ape yg kite ader.

.............continued...........

we had our lunch @ Siam Cultural Park. after lunch, we went to Rose Garden Park (aka s'pore botanic garden). d plc was huge, wewalked, sightseeing ard for 1hr+ b4 making our way to Royal Thai Handicraft Center. im tOtally amazed by their skills @ wood crafting. nO jOke. n guess wats their selling price? nO less than US$10,000.!!!! USDollar OK. a 9pc dining set made from rose wood can easily reached US$12,800.. whoaaa!!! lepas duit kawin n honeymoon aku...kwahkwahkwah.
.................continued.............
dinner @ a plc i dun noe where, n d final stOp was @ Suan Lum Nite Bazaar. (d one closing down, it was in d news). i simply LOVE dat plc. i was sad upon hearing it wld be closed down. haizzz....it was truly a shOpping paradise. but im glad i did went there. .................continued.............
nite in bangkOk is forever young. ahahhaha.. so after all those shOpping spree, we headed back to our hotel rm to put our stuffs n went out again, n dis time its for Thai Traditional Full Body Massage. *TWO-THUMBS UP* ya-allah, sedaapnye kene urut. nvr underestimate d strength of thai woman becoz of their small-built body coz wen they massaged u, u really can b pulped up into a chicken!! i swear, i really do!! i felt lk a chicken being twisted here n there n occasionnally d "bone" cracking sound. Ouch! but i tell u, it was wOrth it. felt so freshen up.

Day Six -

Woke up late, had late breakfast.... last min shOpping (again!) at MBK. ehehehehe... i skipped lunch so i can shOpped more. fast forward, we check-out @ 3pm though our flight back to s'pore was @ 7pm. u can nvr predict d traffic in bangkOk. nvr! reached d airport ard 4.30pm.......so we check-in all our luggages. each passenger's luggages cnnt exceed 15kg or else u gOtta pay tax. guess what, my luggage is OVERWEIGHT!!! huahuahahahahahhahah... suprisingly, only mine is overweight. i wOnder what i bOught..ehehhe.
hOme sweet hOme ard 11pm.

thats d end of my adventure in the Land Of Smile *winks*
